East Coast Acappella, a performance
oriented vocal group for all occasions, brings to their audience a unique blend
of 5 part harmonies, presenting only the best in 50s, 60s Doo Wop Rock & Roll
and beyond - including some of your favorite songs from the 70's, 80's, 90's and
. . .. The group tailors itself to each individual performance, whether it be a
concert, wedding, corporate function, charitable event, or dinner theatre. East

Mike Kelble |
Mike Kelble (Baritone / Lead)
began the founding of East Coast Acappella in 2009, bringing his talents as
vocalist, musical
director and group leader. A Boston area native, Mike began his
professional career at age 13, as a keyboardist / vocalist / arranger.
Performing and recording with many regionally and nationally known
groups
since that time. He has shared the stage with Tavares, The Belmonts,
Flamingos, The Crests, The Coasters, Little River Band, Chubby Checker,
Sam The Sham, The Wailers, and more. Mike has produced and recorded several radio and TV commercials
throughout the years as well as musical director and/or arranger
for numerous recordings and events. Mike was founding member and musical
director of Avenue X (acappella group) from 1996 - 2006. |

Tom White |
Tom
White (Bass & Lead)
performed with Mike in Avenue X from 2002 - 2006, and continues as a
founding member of East Coast Acappella. Toms background has spanned many musical styles as
both a vocalist and bass guitar player including the Norwood based band
Beg Borrow or Steal as well as recording artists Second Society and their hits of the seventies
(Runaround Sue, Goin Away).

Jack Pearson |
Jack Pearson (Tenor/ Lead)
brings to our group solid tenor harmonies, along with his unique style
of lead vocals. Jack is a Berklee College of Music alumni, he has
performed with many regional "vocal oriented" bands in the Boston
area over the last 25 years as percussionist and vocalist. Some of
the bands include The Cascades, Formation, Main Street and
Tobacco Road and currently can be seen performing with the Chowda
Heads as well as the groups' percussionist /vocalist. |

Rick Walsh |
Rick Walsh (Baritone / Lead) In
addition to to the smooth lead and background vocals Rick brings to our
group, Rick Walsh is an accomplished pianist, vocalist, entertainer,
emcee, and disc jockey with over twenty five years of on stage
experience. He has shared the stage with many notables including Kenny
Loggins and Hermans Hermits of "sixties" fame. Rick played keyboards
for Freddy Boom Boom Cannon during his 2007 east coast stop and
recorded vocals for Columbia recording artist Clarence Clemons on his
solo album "Hero."
Rick was band leader and business manager of the
successful band Majic for the past twenty years. The band performed at
many types of venues all over the east coast from Sarasota Florida to
Montreal Canada

Ed Barker |
Ed Barker (Tenor / Baritone) Ed
hails from Des Moines, Iowa, with a Masters Degree in Musical Theatre. Eds
multi-talented addition to East Cost Acappella brings the final touch to
round out our smooth sound and presentation.
In
addition to his duties with ECA, Edward is a lead vocalist in the
three-man, 70's trio, The Classics, incorporating soul, Motown and doo
wop. He has performed over 30 of the Duke's compositions in the one-man
show, Ellington: The Life & Music of the Duke and has
toured to many of America's historic performance venues as the
Emcee/Featured Vocalist, fronting the fifteen-piece big band, String of
Pearls, in the 1940's revue, In The Mood. He co-founded
Orpheus, a professional touring quintet that specialized in
"Manhattan Transferesque" harmonies and he spent six years as lead
vocalist, keyboardist and percussionist with the bands Hip Pocket and
The Platinum Blues Band. He has had the honor of having the jazz opera,
Mozart in Harlem written for him, performing the title character,
opposite the legendary Joe Williams in Las Vegas's Artemus Ham Hall. His
professional career of 37 years also includes more than 150 NY, Boston,
regional and touring theatrical productions. |

Together, these five talented personalities bring to each audience an
entertainment experience you are sure to remember. Having performed at venues
ranging from Mohegan Sun, Cape Cod Melody Tent, Bayside Expo Center, Faneuil
Hall, Marquis Theatre, Plymouth Memorial Hall, Plymouth Thanksgiving Day Parade, to more private
and intimate events such as birthday parties, anniversary parties, beach
parties, weddings, dinner theatre . . .
